What’s the difference?
An appraisal and an evaluation both assess the value of your coins, but they serve different purposes and are conducted differently:
Appraisal: This is a formal, detailed assessment conducted by a certified appraiser to determine the market value of your coins. It is often used for insurance, estate planning, or legal purposes, and results in a comprehensive written report that is legally recognized.
Evaluation: This is a more informal assessment that provides an estimate of your coins' value based on current market trends. It is typically used for personal knowledge or deciding whether to buy, sell, or trade. While thorough, it does not carry the same legal weight as an appraisal.
